Get To Know ME!

Hi Hi! I have never had a blog before but feel like a good blog should start with a little bit about whoever is creating it! So here I am. My name is Lauren and I am a 25 year old travel agent/travel junkie! I grew up traveling all over the world with my family and have been extremely blessed to have seen all that I have. When I was in elementary school, my dads job relocated us to England for a year and a half for work. Being so young, I wasnt able to fully appreciate it, but looking back at it now it is where my love for travel began. We lived in Surrey (if you have seen The Holiday this is the town it was set in) which is in the countryside outside of London. On the weekends we took full advantage of being there and traveled EVERYWHERE! Italy, France, Scottland, Ireland, Belgium...you name it we probably went.

Once we were back in the states the travel didn't stop. I definitely got my travel bug from my parents because they took us all over the world! As I got older, I have only been able to appreciate travel and different culture even more. A few years ago I started as a travel agent with a company called TravelB which I am still with today. I started it solely as a hobby for myself since I was already traveling so much. By word of mouth it spread that I was an agent and now I have booked so many trips for friends/family/new clients for all different types of trips! Family trips, spring breaks, Disney, Cruises, Honeymoons, wedding room blocks, weekend getaways.

The past year or so I decided to really focus in on my travel hobby and brainstorming ways to really do more with it. I wanted to be able to showcase my own travel and fun trips while also booking trips for clients. I made a tik tok page to make fun videos about my own travels, my tips, and just fun things I have been up to. I decided to make this website/blog to kind of put my social media into words. My vision is this can be a place where people can come to 1) get connected with me as a travel agent to book their trip 2) learn some new things about travel and some hacks they may not know of and 3) follow along a fun very unprofessional blog about my trips and all the recs I have from the places I have been!

So that is a little about me as far as my travel journey goes. I am super excited for this as it is a big passion of mine and I love to share pictures, stories, and tips with people!
